I rode up with a kid from New York yesterday and asked him about the snow... he said the resorts in the Northeast weren't getting much of anything; the storms were just heading right out to the ocean and dumping over the cities. Too bad; I guess we've still got it better than them at the resorts (according to him).
We had close to 40" at our house between the two back to back storms...the only "mountains" we have to ski on are the snowbanks that are slowly melting in the yard. Lame.
